Who are We?

​WME’s members hail from each of the 50 states, Canada, and Africa and represent mathematics educators in the pre-service, Pre K-12, and college/university levels.

​Our mission is to advocate for equity and high-quality teaching and learning of mathematics for all students, especially related to girls, women and underrepresented minority groups.
​
​Our organization provides professional development opportunities, engages in public and political advocacy, provides classroom resources, supports summer math camps, offers math teacher grants, and holds WME meetings and award ceremonies for its members. ​
